RFP - Saint John Energy Manawagonish Substation Modifications

Scope of work comprises general construction of an existing electrical substation for the Burchill Wind Project, located at 1874 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, New Brunswick.  Detailed information is in the document attachment of the Project and the Works to be performed.

The Manawagonish Substation construction completion must be no later than November 30th, 2021 to allow Saint John Energy sufficient time to complete commissioning activities prior to energization of the facilities.

The detailed scope of work for the Manawagonish Substation is defined within the following technical information packages:

  • Electrical scope of work is defined within the electrical drawing set and consists of, but not limited to the supply and installation of the equipment and materials commencing where the Hendrix line enters the substation as seen in the electrical set.  Please note the primary equipment in the BOM will be purchased by Saint John Energy.
  • The structural scope of work is defined within the structural drawing set, which is comprised of but limited to, construction of foundations for transformers, circuit switchers, breakers and control building, supply and install poles and steel structures, supply and install duct work for cabling, and supply of proper materials to bring the site to proper grade elevations.
